RAM(Random Access Memory)

Random Access Memory (RAM) is the "working memory" in a computer. Additional RAM allows a computer to work with more information at the same time which can have a dramatic effect on total system performance.
RAM is Also Known As main memory, internal memory, primary storage, memory "stick", RAM "stick".
RAM is typically referred to simply as "memory" even though other types of memory may exist inside a computer.
Each motherboard supports only a certain range of memory types in certain combinations so always check with your motherboard manufacturer before making a purchase.

A standard "module" or "stick" of desktop memory is long, thin and resembles a short ruler. The bottom of the memory module has one or more notches to guide for proper installation and is lined with numerous, usually gold-plated connectors.

Memory modules come with various storage capabilities. Modern memory modules can be purchased in 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB sizes.

Engineers Fundamental

To become a computer engineer you need to have solid knowledge of computer fundamental.

In the fundamental concepts first term is hardware issue such as

1.CPU

2.RAM

3.PRocessor

4.Hard disk

5.ROM

These term are essential for learning fundamental of computer

CPU:

CPU - Central Processing Unit

The CPU (processor) is one of the most important components in a computer, it can be likened to the brain of the system. There are 2 main PC CPU manufacturers, Intel and AMD.
There have been many advancements in CPU manufacturing and innovation over the years, however, the fundamentals of these ingenious devices hasn't changed.
The CPU's common components include:

  • CU - Control Unit, this sequences, controls and times the other functions of the CPU.
  • ALU - Arithmetic Logic Unit, this carries out simple mathematical equations on the binary data stored inside the data registers.
  • Registers - these are temporary memory locations which hold binary data and store the results of ALU calculations. There are also memory address registers which, as the name suggests, hold data concerning where in the memory certain instructions and data is held.
  • BUS - this carries data between the memory and registers.

Configure Your PC for become engineer

In order to learn computer science first you need to configure your pc

pc requriement:

Be aware that removing the splash screen will also cause you not to see any boot-up messages that might come up (chkdsk, convert ... ), but if your system runs without any problems then it should not matter.

1. Edit boot.ini
2. Add " /noguiboot" right after "/fastdetect".

(or check the /noguiboot switch in msconfig on the boot.ini tab)

Upon restarting, the splash screen will be gone. It can be re-enabled by removing the new switch.

Enjoy.
